Historic Snohomish, WA

Known as the "Antique Capital of the Northwest," founded in 1859, features Victorian homes and hundreds of antique dealers in restored buildings. Snohomish is listed on both the state and national registers of historic places.

Back in the days of steamboats, lumbering was an important part of Snohomish. Aspects of the lumber commerce are still visible. The Blackman Historical Museum is built in one of the old homes built by a local lumberman in 1878. This museum features vintage furniture and local memorabilia.
