White Pass Scenic Byway
Rimrock Lake, WA
Located in the Snoqualmie National Forest, Rimrock Lake was formed by the construction of the Tieton Dam on the Tieton River. The lake is surrounded by rich greens of a coniferous forest and the steep hillsides of nearby mountainsides. The crisp, clear mountain air makes the spectacular setting much more prominent. The lake is available for people seeking recreation as well as striking scenery. Rainbow trout and Kokanee swim in its waters and 2,790 acres of water surface are perfect for skimming along. A boat ramp is also available for visitor use. In the past, Rimrock Lake has had various events, such as a weekend of fun for windsurfers.
