If you like to ski or snowboard, White Pass Ski Area is an optimal winter getaway. There are a total of 32 trails and an 18-kilometer Nordic Network. Never fear that there won't be enough snow. The annual snowfall is 350 inches, meaning enough powder for all. At White Pass Ski Area there are trails for everyone. Admittedly, the intermediate skiers will have the most at 60 percent of the trails, but beginners and the advanced each have a full 20 percent of the trails to themselves.

White Pass Ski Area also has a number of items that will make beginners smile. Take for instance the Wonder Carpet -- a "moving sidewalk" lift that will assist beginning skiers and snowboarders up the hill. Be sure to stop at White Pass Ski Area along your drive and have some fun in the snow.
