The Bayou Teche Scenic Byway contains in its path everything from Las Vegas-style casinos to Colonial Catholic churches. Its various state parks provide for fishing, boating, shrimping, sailing, speedboat racing, river tours, hunting, camping, picnicking, hiking, swimming, and even skiing.
