From Sandia Crest House you can venture along many serene hiking trails. You'll pass through aspen glades, cross flowering meadows and come upon one spectacular view after another. A quarter-mile self-guiding nature trail introduces you to the local flora and fauna. In winter, the same trails become a wonderland for cross country skiers and snowshoers. Equipment rentals and instruction are available at Sandia Crest House. Sandia Cave trail (1 mile) Sandia Peak trail (1/2 mile loop).
