Geronimo Trail Scenic Byway
San Lorenzo, NM

The early settlement of San Lorenzo is a farming community, and the end of the Geronimo Trail. Here the Trail intersects with the Trail of the Mountain Spirits Scenic Byway. This area was home to the Red Paint Apaches, a separate branch of the same family as the Warm Springs band. There is a convenience store in town where all amenities may be obtained before returning across the mountain.
