Bicycle/Pedestrian Facilities

The State of Kansas has laws pertaining to the travel of bicycles and pedestrians along their roadways. All travelers should be conscientious of these laws. The highway portions of the route offer wide shoulders for bicycle and pedestrian travel. The cities offer sidewalks (some may also offer bike lanes) to accommodate pedestrians. Note of interest: the cities of Arma and Franklin once had the longest sidewalk on record that stretched between them.
