Mueller State Park, CO
Mueller State Park is one of Colorado's most spectacular parks. Located at the west base of Pike's Peak, it extends over 12,000 acres across some of the most beautiful land in the west. Camping is available in natural forested areas but includes such modern amenities as flush restrooms and camper services.
A popular wildlife viewing area, Mueller State Park is home to elk, bighorn sheep, eagles and hawks. Groves of aspen trees, coupled with abundant wildlife, make the park a must for photographers and sightseers alike.
Mueller State Park has almost 80 miles of scenic trails that are perfect for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Fishing, hunting and cross-country skiing are additional reasons to visit the Park.
