Beginning in the 1870s and continuing to the present day, excavations here have unearthed such well-known dinosaurs as Stegosaurus, Diplodicus, and Allosaurus. Specimens from this area are on display in America's most prominent natural history museums. Today, the Marsh and Cleveland Quarries provide exhibits and self-guided trails for visitors to enjoy.
