Dunnville, CO
Dunneville was the site of a skirmish between striking miners and the militia during the labor unrest of 1903-04. Some of the striking miners made their headquarters at Dunneville. The militia arrived on a Florence and Cripple Creek train and drove the strikers out of the area. Dunnville is also known as the Twelve Rest Stop on Phantom Canyon Road. Today it features information panels and a picnic area.
