Special Considerations

Be cautious when crossing the streets on the Harrison Ave. intersections in Leadville. There is only one stoplight. Leadville stands at just over 10,000 feet. Those who are not used to high elevations may want to take some time to adjust to this before doing any strenuous activity or wandering up some of the hills in town.
