Special Considerations

Of the 56 trails in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, only nine require Trail Park passes: Sams Walker, Eagle Creek, Bridge of the Gods, Bonneville, Larch Mountain, Herman Creek, Dog Mountain, Wahclella, and Wyeth.

Trail Park passes are available at area chambers of commerce, information centers, and many outdoor stores and Oregon/Washington National Forest Service offices.

Several Oregon Parks and Recreation Department sites require a $3 day-use fee, including Senator Mark O. Hatfield East Trailhead, Senator Mark O. Hatfield West Trailhead, Dabney State Park, Rooster Rock State Park, Viento State Park, Benson State Park, and Mayer State Park.

For information, call 1-800-551-6949 or visit the Oregon State Parks website.
