The park extends nearly a quarter mile north of the highway and has plenty of parking. At the end of the park is a viewing area with markers identifying specific geological features.

Two interpretive signs are located adjacent to the parking area. One discusses the vision for the Historic Columbia River Highway and the other describes the Bretz (ice age) floods.

Special Considerations

This is a popular stop along the highway. Parking is plentiful, but might fill up in summer. There are no comfort facilities here.
