Visitor Services

Information and regular visitor services available in the nearby towns.

Plenty of parking is available at the Nye Beach Turnaround at the foot of N.W. Beach Dr. where the old Natatorium used to stand. There you will find picnic tables, handicap access to the beach, and plenty of gulls to feed. A wide and sandy beach stretches in both directions. To the north is the famous rock, Jump Off Joe, which used to resemble a ladies boot.

There are three beach areas along Discovery Drive, with large parking lots, and the third beach parking lot is also a staging area to access the Oregon Dunes with off-highway vehicles. You'll find picnic tables and a gazebo at this location for a special place to picnic.
