Lemolo Lake, OR

Lemolo Lake is a favorite place in Oregon where anglers can catch the elusive Brown trout. Other species in Lemolo are rainbow trout, brook trout and kokanee salmon. Lemolo is a major reservoir on the North Umpqua River. Water-skiing is permitted within a 40 mph speed limit. Three boat ramps, four campgrounds and resort are located on the lake. Lemolo Lake Resort offers gas, food, lodging, bait, tackle, boat rentals and launching. Spectacular views of the High Cascade Mountains can be seen from the lake. In the winter there is cross-country skiing and a wealth of snowmobile trails that lead through sparkling landscapes.
