You can't camp right on the lake, but very nearby. There are 8 sites that can be used for either tents, trailers, or RVs (up to 16 feet.) These spots cost $5 a night and have picnic tables, fire grills, water, and toilets. Boat docks and launching nearby (no motor boats.) Leashed pets are allowed. No reservations. Camping is open from July to mid-Sept.

Special Considerations
Come on a weekday just before school's out, or just after the kids go back. This spot is best when you're the only one there.
