Clarks Hill Recreation Area, SC

Clarks Hill Recreation Area offers picnic sites with barbeque pits and views of the J. Strom Thurmond Reservoir. Make sure to bring your bathing suit and take advantage of the two swim beaches to cool off on a summer day. For those hankering to get out on the water, Clarks Hill also provides boat launches and plenty of parking. No camping is available at the recreation area, so get there early and plan on spending the whole day!
