The Forest operates 60 developed sites (campgrounds and picnic areas), has 630 miles of trails, 2 developed ski areas, and has had all three highways traversing the Forest designated as National Forest Service Scenic Byways: Medicine Wheel Passage, Bighorn Scenic Byway, and Cloud Peak Skyway.
