Road conditions can change quickly during the winter storm season. Please use caution during winter months and check with the Kamas and Evanston Ranger District offices for current conditions.

Restrictions

This section of the byway is open all year, but the Utah section through the Uintas is usually closed in winter due heavy snowfall.
