Western Historic Trails Center, IA

This new center covers the history of the Oregon, California, Mormon, and Lewis and Clark Trails. Other trails noted include the first transcontinental railroad, which headed west from Council Bluffs, and the Lincoln Highway. Included in the center are sculptures, educational audio, and state-of-the-art visual displays.
