Squirrel Cage Historic Jail, IA

In this 1885 Lazy Susan jail, the cells rotated to allow viewing of all cells from one vantage point. It is one of the only three left in the nation. The jail was used until the 1960s and now visitors can tour the jail to get a glimpse at this unusual prison located in Council Bluffs.
