Mountains to Sound Greenway - I-90
John Wayne Pioneer Trail, WA
A major cross-state link, this former railway, Milwaukee Road, reaches from Rattlesnake Lake near North Bend to the Idaho border. The level grade of the trail makes it ideal for mountain bikers, equestrians, and walkers.
Iron Horse State Park, sitting along a section of the John Wayne Pioneer Trail, is 66.5 miles long and about 20 feet wide, making it one of the longest and narrowest parks anywhere.
