Mountains to Sound Greenway - I-90
Twin Falls, WA
The trail to the 150-foot waterfall is said to be the most "toddler-friendly" path on the byway; it's an easy walk that anyone can make.
Walk through a "cathedral of ancient forest beside a murmuring river to a thundering climax." In the summer, it traipses through a cool forest of moss-and-fern covered trees. In the winter, the hike seems more miraculous because the falls are particularly splendid, as they are somewhat icy.
The bridge is a hundred feet above the pools. Feel the earth tremble. Look up and wonder how the two huge laminated wooden beams were placed here.
