Aplets and Cotlets Candy Kitchen Tour (WA)
The charming, old world kitchen offers delightful samples of delicious fruit and nut confection. This nationally-known company has made these confections out of locally-grown produce for over 75 years.

Art on the Avenues is a leisurely stroll through the downtown area to view outdoor sculptures. Artists loan their works to the Avenues for a year. During that time, the pieces are displayed outdoors on pedestals.

Big Eddy River Class II rapids (WA)
Big Eddy River Access Park provides parking and access to the Skykomish River. Rafters and kayakers usually take out at this point and fishermen put in. US 2 passes over Big Eddy on High Bridge.
Location: The put-in for this run is at the railroad bridge.

Bolder Drop is a class IV/V rapid described by Canoe & Kayak Magazine as the rite-of-passage rapid for Puget Sounders.

Cashmere is nestled in forests and sits on the banks of the Wenatchee River. Orchards line the hills and roads (the fruit industry is huge here) making for stunning autumns. The city is also minutes away from the mighty Columbia River.

Chelan County Museum and Pioneer Village (WA)
Native American artifacts, natural history exhibits, and 20 authentically-restored pioneer buildings.

Location: On the coast of Washington, at the end of US2.

Heybrook Trail & Lookout is a steep trail, 900 feet of elevation gain in one mile, that ends at an old forest fire lookout station 3.5 miles up. The structure is being repaired and not open but the observation deck is.
Location: Right off Highway 2 near Index.

"Antique Capital of the Northwest." The historic city of Snohomish was founded in 1859 by E.C. Ferguson, who arrived looking to settle on the Military Road planned to connect between Fort Stelacoom and Fort Bellingham.
