Visitors will be delighted with this fantastic museum. Housed in a castle-like chateau on 26 acres of park-like gardens, the museum overlooks the Columbia River Gorge and holds many permanent exhibits, as well as changing exhibits. Some of the permanent exhibits include a collection of watercolors and sculptures, internationally recognized, by the great French master Auguste Rodin; an extensive collection of rare prehistoric Native American rock carvings, intricate baskets and beadwork, as well as an immense array of unique artifacts from throughout North America; American Classical Realism paintings; Chess Sets; and European paintings.
