The fish hatchery raises three varieties of salmon as well as steel head, rainbow, and cutthroat trout. The ponds are full January through May. Visitors can see adults spawning in October and November. The hatchery does not only allow visitors to see concourses of fish, the hatchery is also a good spot to watch bald eagles December through early February.
