The Houston Nature Center is located at the Root River Trailhead in Houston. A professional naturalist is on hand to answer questions, and intriguing displays present information about the local flora and fauna. The Houston Nature Center is surrounded by 30 acres of restored prairie, and also features restrooms, shower facilities, and tourist information.
