Chesapeake Country Scenic Byway
Mount Harmon Plantation, MD
Mount Harmon Plantation originated as a land grant of 350 acres to Godfrey Harmon in 1651 and once produced tobacco for shipment to England. The main portion of the Georgian style brick manor house was built in the first half of the 18th Century. The property is bordered on 3 sides by water, offering a magnificent view, and visitors can tour the main house, as well as the tobacco house and outdoor colonial kitchen.
