The Robert W. and Diane E. Gibson Museum of Sheppard Pratt, MD
The Gibson Museum houses artifacts associated with the philanthropic founders of Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital and tells the story of the Sheppard Asylum, 1891. Check out the Moses Sheppard exhibit, Enoch Pratt and the Early Years exhibit, and the Hospital Activities exhibit. Altogether, the museum is home to 2,000 artifacts, books, documents, furniture, furnishings, photographs, artwork, equipment, and memorabilia. The Museum tells the story of the history of one of America’s private psychiatric hospitals.
