Morristown is an extremely well-preserved pike town that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The buildings and street pattern have changed little since the 19th Century, and a local historic plaque program attests to the abundance of historic structures that byway travelers can see while visiting. It offers limited visitor services. The village hosts events when the National Pike wagon train comes through each summer.
