Tensas River National Wildlife Refuge, LA
The Tensas River NWR consists of nearly 70,000 acres of bottomland hardwoods and oxbow lakes. It houses more than 400 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish, including the threatened Louisiana black bear.
