Blue Ridge Parkway

From the Blue Ridge Parkway, this mountain appears as a smooth dome of granite. Although the rock looks impossible to hike, venture to the Brevard side of the mountain and access a moderate yet walkable three-mile hiking trail leading you past small cascades and through clumps of rhododendron and mountain laurel to extraordinary views of the lush Blue Ridge Mountains.
