A full range of recreational facilities and activities can be found at David Crockett State Park, including a paved bicycle trail. Other activities include playgrounds, hiking, tennis, softball, volleyball, ping-pong and much more. Forty-acre Lake Lindsey provides year-round fishing enjoyment, and large stringers of bass are not uncommon. Rowboats and paddle boats are available for rent at the boat dock. No personally owned boats or motors are permitted on the lake.

An olympic-sized swimming pool with a modern bathhouse and concession stand offers the finest in aquatic enjoyment. There is a sunbathing space and a wading pool for children.

Picnic tables and picnic shelters are available in several locations throughout the park.

A resturant capable of seating 250 persons is located on site as well.
