Silver Creek Canyon presents impressive views from the Byway, in a stretch sometimes referred to locally as the "white knuckle zone". As the traveller descends into the canyon, the sound of rushing water invites a stop, or even an ovenight stay at Silver Creek campground. Excellent views of Silver and Highland Peaks from the campground.
