Driving the Byway

Beginning in New Pine Creek, OR, travel south on Route 299. At the XL Indian Reservation, head east to Cedarville about 7 miles. Head back to Route 299 to the XL Indian Reservation and continue south. The route curves west at Alturas. At Canby, the route merges with Route 139. Follow Route 139 to Tulelake, the endpoint of the byway.
