Driving the Byway

• Start your drive for this byway at the intersection of Lake County Roads 455 and 561 a few miles south of Astatula in Lake County.
• Go south and east on County Road 455 through Ferndale, the Ferndale Preserve and Monteverde.
• At the intersection with Count Road Old Highway 50 turn east.
• At the Lake/Orange County Line, Old Highway 50 becomes Oakland Avenue.
• Continue on Oakland Avenue northwest at the intersection of Oakland Ave. and Deer Island Road.
• The byway contains a short spur at the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Tubb Street. Go north on Tubb Street for one block to the Tubb Street round-a-bout. Circle the roundabout back to the intersection of Tubb Street and Oakland Avenue.
• Continue east on Oakland Avenue through the community of Tildenville.
• The byway ends in Winter Garden at the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Orange County Road 545 in the city of Winter Garden.
