Highland Scenic Highway
The Williams River, WV
The Williams River is a favorite spot in the Cranberry Wilderness for fishing and enjoying a mountain river, and the Highland Scenic Highway provides access to its middle section. During April and May, fishing along the 33 mile river is at its peak. The river is stocked throughout the year with brown trout that thrive in its waters and continually tempt anglers. In addition to the fishing, visitors will find several hikes and scenic areas to enjoy along the Williams River.
