Griggstown Historic District, NJ

The Griggstown Historic District covers a five mile stretch of Canal Road and 68 principle structures including the Bridgetender's station and barracks associated with the canal era.

Many of Griggstown’s early residents fought in the Revolutionary War including John Honeyman who was a spy for Washington before the Battle of Trenton.
