Delaware River Scenic Byway
Stockton-Prallsville Mills Historic District, NJ

Stockton offers an opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty surrounding the early 18th-century hamlet and river town, while learning about the connection between the Delaware River and transportation in America’s early history. The Stockton-Prallsville region includes numerous sights and landmarks including the Stockton Inn, which was originally a 1710 tavern, the last remaining three-room school house in NJ that's still in operation, the D&R Canal, the Bel-Del rail line, and the national historic district of the Prallsville Mills and Museum.
