Getting to the Byway

From Orlando International Airport

  • From the airport head west on the Beachline Expressway (SR 528) to Florida’s Turnpike.
  • Head northwest to the terminus of Florida’s Turnpike at I-75.
  • Take I-75 north to exit 73 for Micanopy.
  • This is 175th Street, which is part of the byway.
  • Start your drive on the byway by proceeding northeast toward Micanopy.

From Jacksonville International Airport

  • From Dixie Clipper Drive at the Jacksonville airport head east on SR 102 to I-95 (exit #127).
  • Head south on I-95 to I-295 (exit #126).
  • Head southwest on I-295 to I-10.
  • Take I-10 west to US 301 (exit #50).
  • Take US 301 south toward Gainesville.
  • At Waldo, bear left and continue on US 301 to SR 20 in Hawthorne.
  • Turn west on SR 20 toward Rochelle for approximately five miles.
  • Turn south (left) onto CR 325 to begin your drive on the byway.

From Gainesville Regional Airport

  • From the Gainesville Regional Airport, turn right onto NE 39th Avenue.
  • Turn left onto NE Waldo Road.
  • Continue onto SE 11th Street.
  • Continue onto FL-331 S/SE Williston Road.
  • Turn left onto the byway.
