As one of the main communities on the Flaming Gorge Scenic Byway, Vernal is a great place to set up headquarters or stop for visitor services. Visitors will be able to find restaurants and hotels in this little town, as well as a small prehistoric museum. Visitors to Vernal may also be interested in visiting the Parcel Post Bank, the LDS Vernal Temple, or the Ouray National Wildlife Preserve.
