Dinosaur Diamond Prehistoric Highway
Dinosaur National Monument, UT
A park of infinite variety, the monument is a textbook of the dinosaur. With over 2,000 fossil bones are exposed as they were found, it is one of the largest fossil bone quarries in the world. North of the monument headquarters at Dinosaur, Colorado, drive to Harper's Corner to the heart of the canyon region. The one mile hike takes you to a breathtaking view of the Mitten Fault, Steamboat Rock and the Green and Yampa Rivers, 2,500 feet below.
