Dinosaur Diamond Prehistoric Highway
Bicycle/Pedestrian Facilities

The Dinosaur Diamond includes portions of I-70 and various US Highways. Because of this, bicycle travel along the actual route may be prohibited and/or dangerous. However, there are numerous trails off the byway that delight visitors who come to the area. The Kokopelli Trail is designed and built for mountain bike travel between Moab and Fruita. Foot travel along the actual byway route is dangerous for the same reasons bicycling is. Hiking for recreation, solitude, or sight-seeing in the area of the Dinosaur Diamond is very popular and there are many trails that you can follow.
