Little Dixie Highway of the Great River Road
Ted Shanks Conservation Area, MO

This conservation area covers 6,705 acres and offers visitors a variety of different ways in which to enjoy the outdoors including fishing, camping, boating, hunting, and hiking. Vegetation includes marshes, sloughs, oxbow lakes, and bottomland hardwood timber. The area provides habitat for two endangered plants and fourteen rare and endangered birds.
