Snow Creek and Roman Nose Lakes Recreation Area, ID

Roman Nose Lakes are set in a beautiful sub-alpine granite bowl, offering the only wheelchair-accessible mountain lake in the Selkirks. Wildflowers are prolific, huckleberries often plentiful. Loop trails access upper Roman Nose Lakes and spectacular views. A gentle trail goes to upper and lower Snow Creek Falls, through large ponderosa, cedar and grand fir - a quick, easy hike for family outings. Interpretive signs tell about the mountain flora and fauna and the 1967 fire.
