Grants is home to several famous Route 66 landmarks, including the Sands Motel, the Franciscan Motel, the Uranium Cafe, and the Grants Cafe. A popular destination spot of Route 66 travelers, the town is a shrine to all things Route 66- buildings and signs have been preserved and artwork in the town commemorates the Mother Road. In true Route 66 fashion, the citizens of Grants successfully lobbied to include neon trim on their new post office.
