Thirteen huge teepees appear right in the middle of Holbrook beckoning you to spend the night! The Wigwam Motel, on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1950 to attract the road trip travelers. This Route 66 treasure is still being operated by the Lewis family, who has taken great care to keep everything original, even adding a dozen vintage cars to the Route 66 experience. There is also an extensive Route 66 memorabilia collection on display at the hotel.
