The Oklahoma Route 66 Museum offers travelers the opportunity to explore the history of Route 66. Exhibits begin with the World’s Largest Curio Cabinet filled with Route 66 treasures. Following the introduction gallery, the museum tells the story of Route 66 by decade; with 10,000 square feet of exhibit space, there are seven galleries beginning with the 1920s and traveling to the 1970s. Visitors experience music, culture, and a trip down America’s Main Street complete with cars.
