Driving the Byway

The trail begins in Clio, Alabama, on Highway 51. Follow Highway 51 for 17 miles northeast to Clayton where you will turn right (east) onto Highway 30. Follow Highway 30 east to U.S. Highway 431, 20 miles. Go north on Hwy. 431 to Eufaula. The byway ends just before the Shorter Mansion.
