Special Considerations
The entire length of the route is paved, with the exception of an interesting 11.4-mile stretch of well-maintained gravel road through the St. Francis National Forest. An alternative to the gravel road is Route 1 south of Marianna. Ample fuel and automobile repair services are found along the route. Plenty of services are available along the route for any special needs; however, watch your engine temperature so that you notice if it begins to increase.
Restrictions
There are no regular restrictions along the route, but be aware of road maintenance that can slow traffic and increase congestion.
